Sorry I missed the first verse and chorus, but I was so stunned that the opening band for The Hold Steady Wednesday night, being Nashville’s Natural Child, would cover a Warren Zevon song at all, let alone “Carmelita.” It was very well done indeed! If they’re playing near you, go see them. In the meantime… enjoy it now.
