Craig Finn from The Hold Steady has a tumblr. He’s in Austin working on a solo record. THS are one of the bands that inspired the launch of this blog; the b&w icon you see is from a 9:30 Club show a few years back. Here’s some past Playmixt love for The Hold Steady. The Hold Steady start writing for record #6 in September. Meanwhile, I’m down in Austin making a record with Mike McCarthy. This one is a solo project. Sunday was another great day in Austin: making music, hanging with friends, and swimming. Also, saw an amazing show by Centro-matic and Sarah Jaffe.
